Who is responsible

CurbMechanic is operated by Curb Mechanic LLC, an Alabama limited liability company, 2121 1st Ave N, Ste N, Birmingham, AL 35203. Curb Mechanic LLC is responsible for this site and for the details you send.

What we collect and why

When you send the founding-shop form we collect your name, shop name, email, phone (if you give it), how many mechanics work in your shop, what you use today (if you tell us), your state, and the town or area you serve (if you tell us). We also save when you agreed and which wording you agreed to.

To limit abuse, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address for up to 2 days. It cannot be turned back into the address.

We do not check that the email address is yours before we save it. A person reads your request and replies to you.

We use it only to reply to you, to decide who is invited, and to tell you when CurbMechanic opens. We do not send newsletters.

Who can see it

Curb Mechanic LLC can see it. So can the services that run this site for us:

• Google Cloud and Firebase Hosting run this site and the program that receives the form.
• Supabase stores the details in a database.
• Resend sends us an email about each request.

We do not sell your details and we do not share them for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep a request for 12 months after your last request or update. Then it is deleted, unless you were invited to be a founding shop.

Your choices

Email service@curbmechanic.com to ask for a copy of your details, to fix them, or to have them deleted. We will answer as soon as we can.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no tracking cookies and has no analytics. It loads no scripts from other companies.

Children

This site is for shop owners and mechanics. It is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too.
